Chanel No.5

Not quite as innovative, but definitely as revolutionary as Honda’s first ever ‘live’ advert, where skydivers spelled out the letters H.O.N.D.A. stating that “Difficult is worth doing”, with the tagline “The Power Of Dreams”.

Perfume companies have certainly taken their time to target the female market in this way, but it is definitely the way forward. Some might argue that every woman wants him, and every man wants to be him. Brad Pitt is a Hollywood icon that causes box office sales to rocket. So why wouldn’t these companies acknowledge this opportunity.

Brad Pitt has become the first ever male spokesperson of Chanel’s iconic No.5 perfume. Chanel No.5 is the first ever perfume company to use a male model to target a female audience and I am sure they wont be the last.


The only problem is that he looks as if he is about to burst out laughing all the way through the ad, because not even he knows what he is talking about.
